Do you know there is a difference in Variable payments/deductions as compare to Recurring payments/deductions?

 

 

 

Variable Payments

Payitems on this category does not happen on a standard schedule or a standard value.

These group of payitems will only appear for selection under Add Payment Item > One-Time Payitems during payroll run.

 For example: Long Service Award or One-off Stand-by Allowance

 

 

Recurring Payments

Payitems on this category happen on a standard schedule and value.

 

These group of payitems will appear under:

(i) Add Payment Item > Recurring Payitems during payroll run.

(ii) Employee’s Profile > Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

For example: Transport Allowance or Mobile Allowance

 

 

 

Did you know? If a Deduction item is selected, you are not required to input the negative symbol.
